Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for Gaza - Sunday, 1st October 2023
Terous Misr Foundation began its operations supporting Gaza in October 23, providing high-quality, comprehensive, holistic and rights-based services, including food donations, medical supplies, clothes, covers targeting Palestinians across Gaza, East Jerusalem and the West Bank.
The “Atfalona Hayaah” initiative, launched by Nestlé in cooperation with the Terous Misr Foundation, seeks to treat 1,000 children injured in Gaza, and to provide everything necessary to support the efforts of the Egyptian Ministry of Health in this context, as these services included the provision of comprehensive medical care, including Therapeutic services, medicines, and surgical supplies, in addition to providing ambulances to transport critical cases to Egyptian hospitals.
The initiative's efforts included an air evacuation of 28 foster infants, who are currently receiving the necessary care in Egyptian hospitals, and the number of children who have been treated so far has exceeded more than 440 children.
